Barbour has been getting a ton of attention in the blog world over the past few months, and in our opinion the love is well deserved. We have no idea what has caused the spike in interest, but are happy to contribute to the cause. Any company that makes great looking items that we could feasibly wear for the rest of our lives is definitely one that deserves heavy praise. On a recent visit to Sid Mashburn in Atlanta, we were finally able to get hands on with a Barbour jacket we’ve had our eye on for some time now, the Ashby.

It took us a while to come around, but we think it’s about time that we add a pair of boatshoes with a vibrant sole to our collection. Luckily for us, there is a new crop hitting the market today. Back in January of last year, we posted about the Timex 1600 that was made exclusively for J. Crew. Well, we never pulled the trigger, yet the watch has lingered in the back of our minds ever since. Though it pains us to admit it, our collection of sport coats and blazers is severely lacking. We’re always on the hunt for that next great addition, but for one reason or another we rarely end up pulling the trigger. In an effort to rectify the situation as quickly as possible, we are officially on the hunt for a few new coats to fill the gaps. Okay, we admit it, we have an unhealthy infatuation with outerwear. Though a handful of classic pieces can easily get you through the year, we like the idea of mixing it up as often as possible. Lately, we’ve found ourselves trying to add some more quilted options to our jam packed coat closet. One jacket that caught our attention recently comes from L.L. Bean. It looks like we’re going to have to make some room for the recently released quilted jacket from their Signature line.
