Though it pains us to admit it, our collection of sport coats and blazers is severely lacking.  We’re always on the hunt for that next great addition, but for one reason or another we rarely end up pulling the trigger.  In an effort to rectify the situation as quickly as possible, we are officially on the hunt for a few new coats to fill the gaps.  For casual wear, the Boiled Wool Blazer by Canvas Lands’ End is high on our list.

Available in a color dubbed “University Brown,” the Boiled Wool Blazer definitely has the feel of something a professor might wear on a cool Fall day.  Luckily, the cut is such that unless your professor is a far better dresser than any of ours ever were, nobody will mistake you for one.  Based on the Canvas Lands End Elston jacket, this blazer has a trim cut for a tailored look right off the rack.  With three patch pockets, functional cuffs, and fully lined sleeves to round out the package, the Boiled Wool Blazer is one that should find it’s way into any jacket collection, large or small.
