Okay, we admit it, we have an unhealthy infatuation with outerwear.  Though a handful of classic pieces can easily get you through the year, we like the idea of mixing it up as often as possible.  Lately, we’ve found ourselves trying to add some more quilted options to our jam packed coat closet.  One jacket that caught our attention recently comes from L.L. Bean.  It looks like we’re going to have to make some room for the recently released quilted jacket from their Signature line.

Available in Navy or Dark Olive, this midweight jacket is perfect for the Fall (or dead of winter for those of you lucky enough to live in mild climates), and we can see it working with a number of casual looks.  Each jacket features a contrasting lining, and if we had to pick a favorite we’d probably go with the navy/grey strictly because it’ll go with just about everything in our closet.  With a water-resistant outer shell and polyester filling for warmth, the quilted  jacket will stand up to just about anything Mother Nature feels like throwing your way, and look great doing it.  Is this our new go to weekend jacket?  Time will definitely tell.
