It took us a while to come around, but we think it’s about time that we add a pair of boatshoes with a vibrant sole to our collection.  Luckily for us, there is a new crop hitting the market today.  In conjunction with Barney’s, our friends at Sperry Top-Sider are releasing four limited edition pairs of our all time favorite boatshoe, their iconic 2-eye A/O.  Available only at Barneys New York, and in limited quantities, these shoes are sure to go fast.

Barney’s and Sperry have teamed up before, and while their collaborations are a bit outside of our typical boatshoe wheelhouse, we think the latest collection is finally going to sway us with the Tobacco Suede/Orange makeup.  Also available in Grey/Blue, Navy/Yellow, and Black/Pink, these shoes are definitely going to turn a few heads.  Of course, just like all of the Sperry A/O’s, these shoes feature “hand-sewn tru-moc construction” and siped soles to keep you planted should things get a bit slippery.  We’re curious, have you taken the bright boatshoe plunge?  If so, what color combination are you sporting?
