Ladies and gents, we have a bit of a confession for you.  What started as the hunt for a new navy pin dot tie has led us down a path that somehow left us thinking that we need to add a few more polka dots to our wardrobe.  Of course, doing so tastefully with ties is easy but we’re looking for a bit more this season.  Our first step into the great unknown may just have to be the Polka Dot Polo from our friends at Brooks Brothers.

Love it or hate it, we have a feeling there isn’t going to be much middle ground when it comes to opinions of this shirt.  We love it, so we’re going to run with it this summer and see what happens.  Part of the Brooks Brothers Red Fleece line, the Polka Dot Polo is made from a super soft pre-washed cotton pique and features a fit that is a bit more slim than a classic Brooks polo.  With turquoise logo that adds just a touch of color to round things out, this shirt is one that we’ll be sporting with everything from a pair of Nantucket Reds to go to hell shorts over the next couple of months.  What do you think?  Are you bold enough to sport the dots?
