We’ve finally reached that time of year when virtually all of our jackets with any weight to them have been retired for the foreseeable future.  That being said, it’s always nice to have a lightweight option at the ready for those mornings or evenings that still have a bit of chill to them.  One option that we really like is the Flyweight Quilted Chelsea Jacket from Barbour.

Who says quilted jackets are just for cold weather months?  Not us.  Featuring a quilted pattern similar to the famed Barbour Liddesdale, yet definitely lighter weight, the Quilted Chelsea Jacket makes for a fantastic casual option this time of year.  Available in Navy or Black, the jacket features two snap pockets as well as a zippered pocket in the front and snap tabs at the waist to make sure the fit is spot on.  Definitely a more tailored option than most pieces in the Barbour collection, this jacket is great over a sport shirt or polo, but we wouldn’t suggest it over many more layers than that. For those days when it’s just a touch too cold to leave without an extra layer, the Quilted Chelsea Jacket will never be a bad choice.
