There are four things that we grab before leaving the house every morning: wallet, phone, keys, and sunglasses.  The order never changes, but sometimes the last item does.  Based on the activities of the day ahead, our sunglass options run the gamut, and we are always on the hunt for our next great pair.  Luckily for us, our next great pair found us when we saw our buddy Ace over at Knockaround hinting that a new version of their Mile Highs, the Knockaround take on a pair of classic aviators, would soon be available.

Slated to hit the Knockaround online store this weekend, the Mile Highs are a solid choice for a couple of reasons.  First, they are simply a great looking classic aviator.  Second, they are budget friendly and if you have a knack for losing/breaking frames, these won’t break the bank if you have to order another pair.  Available in three color combinations (Gold/Aviator Green, Silver/Smoke, and Black/Smoke), the new Mile Highs have eliminated the rubber bar that used to run across the nose bridge, and are a touch larger than their predecessors.  With UV400 protection and FDA approved impact resistant lenses, the new Mile Highs have already solidified a slot in our rotation for the coming months.
