Every season a new color or print that we haven’t seen in a while seems to pop up from multiple companies at the same time.  This season, it appears that batik is the print of choice.  Some companies are keeping it traditional, others are putting a more modern spin on it, and a few are just getting close and calling it batik for the sake of name recognition.  One company that did their batik right across a number of products is Sid Mashburn.  Of course, the Batik Bows are our favorite part of their batik collection.

Each Mashburn Batik Bow is made from hand-dyed cotton, so every tie is unique.  Available with a dot or circle pattern, both of these ties features a deep indigo base that’ll pair well with everything from seersucker to boldly colored oxfords.   Sid describes his Batik Bows as “easy, unpretentious, and a little looser feeling.”  What else can you can you ask for in a warm weather bow?
