Over the years, the team at Ledbury has done a fantastic job of meticulously growing their brand one piece at a time. Of course, their shirting line will always be the flagship, but we have a feeling their latest addition is going to cause a bit of a stir with Ledbury fans both old and new. Take a look at the recently released Windward Polos.
If you’re a baseball fan like we are, odds are you’re planning on tuning in to the Home Run Derby this evening. We’re looking forward to seeing how the new rules effect the end result, and, of course, we’ll be cheering for our hometown representative Manny Machado. We’ll also be paying close attention to the social media feeds from our friends at Mitchell Bat Co. Seems that they’re in town for the festivities, and their perspective is never a bad one. Today’s pick is their classic short sleeve tee.
As Shark Week comes to an end, we’re skipping our traditional Bowtie Friday post to feature our absolute favorite shark inspired item. Sure, we may not be as big of fans of Shark Week as we were in the past, and we may have sent out a tweet that came off a bit hipster-ish (is that a word?) earlier in the week, but we still get sucked in for at least a few hours every year. Today’s pick is something that’s been on every beach trip we’ve taken for the past few years, it’s the Great White Shark Hat from Harding-Lane.
Last week, we got a nice little surprise from our friends down at Martin Dingman. We’d heard they were working on a boat shoe of sorts, but what we found inside our bright orange box was far from what we’re used to wearing on the water. The aptly named Thurston Yacht Club is probably better suited for vessels far larger than those we spend time on, but we’ve had a darn good time sporting them around town last weekend.
So far this Summer, our ‘go to hell’ pants collection has stayed in the closet for the most part. Sure, we’ve broken out some serious color from time to time, but compared to years past things have been relatively tame for us. That said, our ‘go to heck’* collection has been seeing some serious wear. Not sure what we mean by ‘go to heck’? We’re talking about pants that aren’t your standard khaki or navy, but that aren’t so loud that you’ll get comments from random passers by. A perfect example is a pair of Blue Carters from Jack Donnelly.
Late Friday evening, a site went live that we’ve been waiting for for quite some time. See our buddy Micah at Old Try has been cooking up a new project with his brothers, and Friday night it finally saw the light of day. Officially a branch of Old Try, Victory Brothers‘ inaugural collection is simply fantastic.

Happy Independence Day! Here’s to hoping your day is full of good food, good friends, and good fireworks!

It’s hard for us to believe Southern Proper is celebrating their tenth anniversary this year. On one hand, it feels like they’ve been around far longer than that, and on the other it seems like they’re still a young up and comer that’s just starting to scratch the surface of their potential. For their Anniversary collection, the ladies down in Atlanta are pulling out all the stops, and the first piece came out this week. Southern Proper has officially entered the world of footwear with the SoPro Sneaks, and we want to know what you think. Would you wear them?
A few weeks back we featured a great collaboration from Hudson Sutler and Criquet Shirt; a shoe bag that doubles as a cooler that’ll let you sneak a few cold ones past the marshall at your local muni. Well, after the post more than one friend asked us why Hudson Sutler didn’t just make a cooler of their own. Little did we know that they had one in the pipeline, and late last week it officially launched. Just in time for Summer, take a look at the Montauk Cooler.
