In the matter of a couple of hours, Fall arrived here in Annapolis yesterday. We went from sunny skies and temperatures in the mid 80’s to grey skies and low 60’s before we knew what was happening.  With no choice but to finally embrace the chill, we’re going full bore with breaking out the Fall wardrobe this week, and along with the clothes it’s time to break out the Fall footwear as well.  We’ve already talked about one pair of boots that will be added to the rotation this year, and today we’re featuring another; the Gold Cup Bellingham Chukka by Sperry Top-Sider.

Over the last few years, Sperry has really impressed us with their Gold Cup line.  What was once the territory of those who were far more worried about function than form is now a collection with a number of items that we’d be happy to have in our rotation.  Among them, the Bellingham Chukkas.  Available in two suede options, and a fantastic looking burnished brown leather (shown), these Chukkas are nice and simple, just the way we like them.  With deerskin linings, and Sperry’s patent pending ASV technology for added comfort, the Gold Cup Bellingham Chukkas not only look great, they feel great too.
