We’ve never had a pair of dress boots in our shoe collection, but we have had them on our radar for quite some time.  There are a number of fantastic options on the market this year, but whenever we start looking we always go back to the same boot.  It may just be time to go ahead and pick up a pair of Dalton Wingtip Boots from Allen Edmonds.

Made in America, and available in four colors of calfskin (our new favorite color, Bourbon, is shown), or a burgundy shell cordovan if you want to blow it out, you really can’t go wrong with any of the Dalton options.  With classic wingtip styling, these boots are made to be dressed up. From suits, to dark denim, we’re going to break these out with just about everything and see where they end up fitting in to our rotation.  It may feel like a bit of a stretch at first, but we have a feeling the Daltons will be seeing some heavy wear when all is said and done.
