It’s not quite cool enough to break out the heavy wool slacks just yet, but as leaves are beginning to change, we’re starting to feel the need to add some extra texture to our daily looks.  While a classic pair of chinos will always be a staple for us, it seems that ours will be getting some extra time off this Fall thanks to a new addition to the lineup.  This year, on those days when we’re looking for a little something extra, we’ll be replacing our khakis with a pair of Herringbone Fancy Chinos by Brooks Brothers.

Once again we find ourselves really enjoying the Brooks Brothers Red Fleece collection.  In this case, their “fancy” chinos feature a classic herringbone pattern that adds just the right amount of texture to any look.  With a slim fit, Ancient Madder print accents in the pockets and on the waistband, and a repp stripe back pocket button loop, we think these pants are a simply fantastic take on an old classic.  Whether you wear them with a pair of loafers or a heavier pair of boots, we have a feeling these pants will become a staple piece for many this Fall.
