When trying to pick the perfect shirt for our Independence Day celebration this year, we had a few criteria that it needed to fit: great looking, easily dressed up or down, and ability to be worn for more than patriotic holidays.  Believe it or not, finding a shirt that matched on all three was easier said than done.  Our pick this year is the Slim Fit Davis Starks Gingham from Ledbury.

We’ve been fans of the Ledbury Starks Gingham shirts for quite some time, and the red and blue edition is going to make a fantastic addition to our wardrobe all year long.  Made from Italian woven 2-fold cotton poplin, the Davis Starks features a Ledbury spread collar along with single button rounded cuffs, and (our favorite touch) real mother of pearl buttons.  Whether you roll up the sleeves and wear this one with a pair of khaki shorts, or dress it up with your favorite blue blazer, you really can’t go wrong.
