Fisherman’s Cable Sweater by Eddie Bauer

We love a day on the slopes as much as anyone, but Mountain Week isn’t just about our favorite on hill gear, it is also about those things that you are going to need for your time away from the mountain.  Our second favorite activity when heading to higher altitudes is checking out the local watering holes.  It has been our experience that most small ski towns tend to be pretty laid back and casual, so we lean towards nothing dressier than a sweater and jeans for the times what we aren’t on skis or snowboards.  A great sweater choice to pair with your favorite pair of denim is the Fisherman’s Cable Sweater ($59.50) by Eddie Bauer.

Inspired by vintage cable and sailing sweaters, the Fisherman’s Cable is right up our alley.  With a classic cable pattern and a ribbed collar to add a little extra warmth, the sweater looks great over a tee shirt or your favorite button down, and the relaxed fit is perfect for a night of beers with the boys, or a quiet dinner in the cabin with the lady in your life.  Made of extremely soft cotton, this sweater is one that you will want to throw on whenever you aren’t out carving up the fresh powder.
