When brands of different generations work together on projects it seems that end result tends to alienate one of, if not both of the, generations that make up the demographics that they reach.  Luckily, in the world of prep, classics and simple twists on classics seem to be well received by generations young and old.  Needless to say, the recent Kiel James Patrick collection for Brooks Brothers is definitely one of the best collaborations of young and old that we have ever seen.  One of our favorite pieces of the line is the BB#1 Braided Belt.

We’ve been fans of the Kiel James Patrick braided belts for quite some time, and the integration of one of our favorite Brooks Brothers patterns to an already classic design definitely makes this belt a must have for us.  With a solid brass buckle, vegetable tanned leather tab, and BB#1 striped silk backing tying everything together, the BB#1 braided belt is definitely unlike anything in our collection, but we know it will fit in seamlessly with just about everything in the closet.  Featuring the timeless BB#1 repp stripe woven in with navy and white nautical cord, this belt has summer favorite written all over it.
