Just like bowties, we think cardigans get pigeonholed into the category of “old man wear” far too often.  Sure, they may be more commonly seen on those that are a few generations ahead of us, but we think a solid cardigan is a great addition to any wardrobe regardless of how old you are.  One of our favorite cardigans is the Merino Wool version from our friends at Peter Millar.

Though we’re not quite sure we’re going to go as far as Ryan Moore and break out a cardigan on the golf course, we will be wearing this one just about every else.  Made from 100% Merino Wool, and currently available in Erin Green, Navy, Paprika, and Wicker, the Peter Millar cardigan will work well over just about anything, and works as the perfect middle or final layer depending on temperature.  Our favorite of the bunch is definitely the Erin Green, and we’ll be throwing it on over our favorite sport shirts for quite some time.
