Our wardrobes always seem to be evolving, and over the past couple of years we’ve worked in far more button down shirts than ever before.  We’re always hunting for something a bit different than what’s currently in the rotation, and it never ceases to amaze us just how many good looking shirts are out there.  On a recent visit to J. Crew, we came across their Secret Wash Garment-Dyed Shirts.

With a broken in look and feel (thanks to that Secret Wash), the Garment-Dyed shirts are definitely a casual option, and we’ll be pairing them with everything from denim, to chinos, to seersucker as the months go by.  Available in original or slim fit, these 100% shirts fit quite well of the rack and look fantastic straight out of the dryer.  Currently available in morning sky (light blue), positano blue (shown), lilac, deep navy, and modern red, you really can’t go wrong with any of the garment-dyed colors, but if we were forced to choose a favorite it would probably be a coin toss between the positano blue and modern red.  Regardless of your color choice, this shirt is a great casual addition to any lineup.
