Whenever we can, we patronize the small brands out there that are building their name one piece at a time.  Unfortunately, many of those small brands do not have a retail presence in our area, so when it comes to sizing things can get a bit tricky.  We’ve found that shoe sizing is the trickiest of all, and with price points that aren’t very conducive to ordering multiple pairs to test, we’ve found ourselves playing the guessing game on more than one occasion.  Luckily, there will be no more guessing for those of you interested in shoes from Rancourt & Company thanks to their new Made to Fit program.

Though Rancourt already has one of the best size charts in the business, their Made to Fit program really takes things to the next level.  For $50, which will be applied to your purchase, Rancourt will send you two ‘fit test’ pairs of shoes in the sizes of your choice.  They recommend testing your usual size and once half size down, or two different widths if you are confident on the length, to ensure that once you place your order you’ll be getting exactly what you want.  Whether you go for something from Rancourt’s Ready Made line, or custom like we did with our first pair, we’d highly recommend taking advantage of this great program before you pull the trigger.
