Though we aren’t going to believe it until the snow is actually on the ground, the National Weather Service tells us that today might be the day that we finally see some significant accumulations here in Annapolis.  Truth be told, as much as we aren’t fans of the cold, the snow will probably be a nice change from the constant mist/rain we’ve seen over the past few days.  In an effort to stay extra warm, we’re pulling out all the stops today and breaking out the Flannel Lined Chinos from J. Crew.

We profiled J. Crew’s Flannel Lined Chinos not long after we launched in 2010, and they remain a favorite of ours whenever the weather turns cold.  With a traditional cut, these washed two-ply cotton twill pants are currently available in Ridge Khaki (shown) or Cove Blue and feature an extremely soft flannel lining.  Though we like the idea of the blue to change things up a bit, our preference here is the khaki.  Regardless of your color choice, you’ll be happy to have these pants in your arsenal when things get chilly.  Bring it on snow, between these pants and our trusty Bean Boots we’re ready (and if you don’t come, we’ll be plenty warm in the cold rain).
