A couple of months ago, we got an email about a new shirting company up in New England.  We took at look at their website and were pretty impressed with their initial collection.  Unfortunately for us, just about everything was sold out before we could get an order placed.  Obviously, we knew we needed to keep tabs on this new brand, and once we were finally able to get our hands on a Bulkley & Willard plaid shirt from Concord Button Downs, we knew it was worth the wait.

Featuring a navy and green plaid that is reminiscent of a classic Blackwatch, the Bulkley & Willard shirt has worked its way into rotation with ease.  Made in Massachusetts from 100% cotton, the shirt features a fit that is just a touch more tailored than a traditional sport shirt but not my much, so if you prefer an extra trim fit you may be headed to the tailor when yours arrives.  With a tonal logo on the left chest (it is even less noticeable in person), and a button down collar, we’ll be pairing the Bulkley & Willard with everything from jeans, to chinos, to cords for the next couple of months.
