We’re always interested in seeing bowties made from materials that are traditionally found in other pieces of our wardrobe.  Chambray, seersucker, and even oxford cloth are already represented in our collection, and we’ll soon be adding some new material to the lineup.  Thanks to the design team at The Tie Bar, our bowtie collection is about to have a few bows made from suiting wool.  First on the list is their Brown Herringbone option.

Because it is made from a suiting wool, this bow is closer in thickness to your standard cotton or silk bow as opposed to many of the wool options that are on the market today.  Featuring a classic brown herringbone pattern broken up with a tan pinstripe, this diamond point bow is one that will fit in well with a number of our favorite Fall looks.  We’re still not quite sure how The Tie Bar is able to offer such great ties at the prices they do, but as long as they keep turning out options like the Brown Herringbone Bow, we’re not asking any questions.
