As much as we love boatshoes, our shoe collection truly runs the gamut.  Lately, we’ve found ourselves wondering how we can expand our loafer collection.  With literally thousands of options on the market, our choices are virtually endless, but we seem to keep going back to one pair again and again.  Definitely different than anything in our current rotation, the Barnes Vintage Penny Loafers by Martin Dingman are high on our list of possible additions.

Made from a waxy Cabretta leather, these fully leather lined loafers have a bit of a vintage feel to them, and we’re told that they begin to develop a patina of sorts after only a few years.  While the Bark version of the Barnes will work for a basic everyday loafer, we’re looking for something a bit different these days, and the Barn Red and Blueberry colors are certainly that.  With contrasting stitching, and full leather soles, the Barnes Loafers from Martin Dingman are a great way to add a bit of variety to any loafer collection.
