There are times during the summer that you just have to let your feet breathe a little bit.  Yes, our boatshoes are the “go to” choice 90% of the time during the summer months, but every once in a while we have to break out the flip flops.  This summer, a new pair has hit the market that combines are beloved boatshoes with a classic flip flop.  They’re called the Flipjacks ($69.50), and we have to thank our friends at Southern Tide for bringing them to market.

Available in three colorways (sand, dock, and river rock), Southern Tide seems to have quite the winner with their first foray into the footwear market.  Featuring micro-suede lined leather uppers, and a super dense footbed, the Flipjacks are comfortable right out of the gate.  Our absolute favorite part of the Flipjacks is the fact that they are 100% boat ready.  The soles are non-marking and siped for extra grip, as are the footbeds so your feet will stay planted if the seas get rough.  Of course, no Southern Tide product is complete without a Skipjack, and on these you’ll find it embroidered into a recessed pocket on each strap.
