If you are reading Bows & Boats, we hope you have realized by now that bowties can be worn just as easily casually as they can be dressed up.  If you still haven’t come to this realization, we would highly recommend checking out the blog over at The Cordial Churchman that is chronicling our friend Andy’s quest to wear a bow every day this year, he has done a fantastic job of integrating bowties into more casual looks.  The perfect example of a bow that can be worn casually is The Cordial Churchman’s Britton ($29).

It seems like the gang down at The Cordial Churchman is on a mission to make bows out of just about any fabric that can be found in a man’s closet, and we are huge fans of their quest.  Hand crafted from something that can be found in the closet of literally every guy we know, 100% Cotton Oxford Cloth, the Britton features bold navy and white stripes that look great paired with solids and tight patterns alike.   While it can be dressed up to some extent, we definiltey think the Britton shines in more casual ensembles and will be pairing it with some of our more worn in Oxfords and some GTH shorts as the weather warms up.
