Heritage Edition Gristanbuls from Bonobos

We love it when brands dig into their archives to bring back pieces that we never thought would see the light of day again.  Sure, there are some misses from time to time, but for the most part we welcome these rereleases with open arms.  It may seem strange for a young brand to rerelease something after only a few years in business, but Bonobos has definitely done things right with their Heritage Edition Gristanbuls ($185).

First released all the way back in 2008, the Gristanbuls were part of Bonobos’ first run of wool pants.  Made primarily of wool, but with just a little bit of lycra for some stretch, the Gristanbuls are tapered through the thigh, and then open up with a bit of a boot cut for a look that is trim, but definitely not slim.  Of course these pants use the magic of the Bonobos curved waistband to ensure a great fit, and the silk paisley pocket liners are a great reminder not to take yourself too seriously.  Though many will choose to wear them with black (which will look great), we think the best look for the Gristanbuls is the one above, pair them with brown and you’ll be good to go.
