When it comes to building a solid wardrobe, one thing you have to remember is to have a little fun.  Yes, you can still look great if you stick with the basics at all times, but what fun is that?  Lately, we have been on the hunt for a few pairs of shoes to add a little pop for those days when everything else is pretty low key.  On a recent trip to Nordstrom, we fell in love with the Wing It Oxfords ($99.95) from their house brand, 1901.

Wingtips can be polarizing to say the least, as can suede shoes.  We’re fans of both, so it shouldn’t be much of a shock that we love the Wing It Oxfords.  Available in grey or navy, each with a brick red sole, these shoes are a solid way to add just a bit of personality to an otherwise low key look.  Not to mention, for those of us who aren’t looking to break the bank with shoes that will only be worn occasionally, the $99.95 price point is extremely appealing.  While these shoes come with a few pairs of laces, we recommend sticking with the red pair, not only are they a great pop of color, they compliment the red sole stripe perfectly.
