To kick off each year we make an attempt to weed out the pieces in our closet that have gone untouched for longer than we can remember, and also begin to identify a few new items that will become versatile pieces for the year ahead.  Sure, there are a few things that always manage to be granted a stay due to sentimental reasons, but for the most part, if we can’t remember the last time we wore it, it is out the door.  Knowing that a solid sport shirt can be dressed up or down with ease, adding the Solid Tabbinet Sport Shirt ($99.50) from Southern Tide to our rotation for 2012 seems to be a no brainer.

Available in colors that we know will always be staples in our lineup, Spinnaker Blue and classic White, the Tabbinet Sport Shirt will definitely seem some serious wear in 2012.  With an embroidered Skipjack on the pocket and button down collar, this shirt definitely leans to the casual side of the spectrum, but not so far that it will be out of place for a day behind the desk.  Made primarily of cotton with just a hint of stretch for a more fitted look, and featuring the small touches we love from all of the Southern Tide sport shirts (i.e laser engraved buttons), the Solid Tabbinet Sport Shirt is an addition that we have a feeling will make the cut when we start the closet cleaning of 2013.
