Whether it is medical, historical, or environmental, it seems like everyone has a cause that means more to them than others.  For two friends in South Carolina, that cause is the conservation and preservation of the loggerhead turtle.  Luckily for us, those two friends launched a clothing line aptly named Loggerhead Apparel.  Their flagship product, the Bellwether Polo ($64), is helping spread the word about this threatened species one shirt at a time.

Not only are the founders of Loggerhead concerned about the turtles, they are also making a very conscious effort to make sure all of their products are made domestically.  That being said, it should come as no surprise that the Bellwether Polo is made of 100% American grown Pima cotton, and assembled in their home state of South Carolina.  Other than the fantastic fit and finish, one thing that we really love about the Bellwether (and all of Loggerhead’s products for that matter), is that 10% of all revenue generated is donated to charities across the country that are dedicated to protecting the loggerhead among other sea turtles.  Featuring a sea turtle logo embroidered on the left chest, the Bellwether is a classic cut polo that looks just as great with jeans on the weekend as it does with a pressed pair of khakis during the week.
