Docksides by Sebago

When it comes to boatshoes, we are all about finding something that is comfortable for the long haul.  That being said, we still find ourselves falling back to the classics.  There is just something about some thin soles and full leather that feels right.  While it may not be the most prudent decision for a long day on your feet, a classic pair of boatshoes gives a look that just can’t be replicated.  One of our favorite classic silhouettes is the Dockside ($95) by Sebago.

The Docksides are Sebago’s original boatshoe.  Introduced in 1970, the shoes were an instant success and have become a pillar of Sebago’s line year in and year out.  Currently available in 15 solid colors (navy is shown), and 16 multi-color options (sold under the Spinnaker name), it is basically imposible not to find a pair of Docksides that suit your style.  Whether you go with a classic brown, or a patriotic red, white, and blue, each shoe features a rubber, slip-resistant, sole and moccasin construction.  Made of high quality leather, you will find that your Docksides will mold to your foot over time.  Whether you are looking for a shoe to complete a look, or for a day under sail, the Docksides are never a bad choice.
