Everett Sport Shirt by Jack Robie

For years it seemed like the only brands that really pushed the fact that their products were “Made in the USA” were in the auto industry.  Luckily, the tag line has spread like wildfire to a number of new brands in the fashion world, and the quality of the products that are being turned out is certainly top notch.  Sure, it may be more cost effective to produce pieces abroad, but we are more than happy to pay a couple of extra dollars knowing that a garment was made right here at home.  One company that proudly touts their shirts as “Made in the USA” is Jack Robie, and their Everett Sport Shirt ($105) is a fantastic choice for any warm weather ensemble.

Though Jack Robie is a young brand (est. 2009), that doesn’t mean they aren’t garnering some major attention.  With a flattering cut that is trim through the body, but a touch loose in the shoulders for some breathing room, their shirts are made from some of the finest fabrics from around the world.  While the materials may come from lands far away, every shirt the company sells is made here in the US.  Featuring a pink and teal tattersall on a white base, their Everett sport shirt is made out of 100% narrow-loomed Japanese cotton and has been prewashed to minimize any shrinkage.  Whether you throw the shirt on straight from the drying rack with a pair of jeans, or press it to wear with a pair of khaki pants, the Everett is a great look for summer.
