Lately, we have received a few requests for more women’s posts.  Well, for two guys writing a blog that is a tall order so we can’t make any promises.  We do our best to find things that we like, and more times than not it turns out that we have picked a winner.  Luckily for us, there are a number of lines out there that never leave us wondering about the quality of their products, or if they are going to be well received.  One of those lines is Lands End Canvas, and their Women’s Sailboat Mini Shorts ($39.50) have certainly caught our attention.

Made of “soft washed and sand-worn” cotton, these shorts are definitely going to have you wishing you were near the beach.  With a somewhat abstract sailboat print in white on a navy base, the shorts are perfect for the days that you are going for a bit of a nautical look.  The three inch inseam may not be for the faint of heart, but if you can pull them off, go for it.  While their model isn’t wearing them, Lands End recommends pairing these shorts with a pair of worn boatshoes, and we couldn’t agree more.
