Last year Jack Spade teamed up with Barbour and released the Hopper Jacket. We raved about it then, and have been kicking ourselves for not picking on up while they were still available. This year the Hopper is back, and this version might be even harder to resist.
With the rest of our Barbour collection made up of green and navy, the idea of a black addition really appeals to us. Though this year’s iteration of the Hopper still features Barbour staples like a plaid lining (it’s blackwatch this year) and corduroy collar, it’s decidedly different than any Barbour jacket we’ve ever seen. The jet black color scheme is far more suited for a night downtown than a day in the country, and we absolutely love that. Finished off with extra support at the shoulders and elbows, a snap out quilted vest, and custom American flag ventilation eyelets, Jack Spade has once again outdone themselves with their take on a Barbour jacket.
