We’re pretty big fans of chambray shirts.  From super lightweight options in the Summer, to heavier choices in the Fall and Winter, we wear them all year round.  Until now, all of the chambray shirts in our rotation have either been a shade of blue or red, none had a pattern.  That’s all about to change thanks to the Plaid Chambray Shirt from L.L. Bean Signature.

Featuring a simple blue and off white plaid, this shirt is going to look just as good with a pair of chinos now as it will with a pair of Nantucket Red shorts in the next few months.  With a trim fit, and a button down flap pocket on the left chest, this certainly isn’t your classic chambray shirt, and that’s why we’re looking forward to adding it to the collection.  Now, if we could just dial up a few more of those Nantucket Red shorts type of days we’d be all set.
