Now that the sun is actually still shining when we leave the office (most of the time), we are starting to take stock of our current selection of sunglasses to see where an upgrade or two could be made.  This year, it looks like new aviators may be on tap, and, if so, our next pair is absolutely going to be the Aviator II from Randolph Engineering.

Made in the USA, the Aviator II’s are available in three different color combinations, but, in our opinion, the leader of the pack is definitely the 23kt gold plated option with polarized tan lenses, and, our favorite feature, Randolph’s signature bayonet temples that were designed so pilots could still wear their glasses comfortably with headgear on.  Randolph aviators have been issued to the US military for more than thirty years, so we have a feeling that these glasses are going to be able to handle everything we throw at them and then some.
