In an effort to forget just how cold it is here, we’re celebrating Bowtie Friday this week by thinking warm thoughts and revisiting one of our favorite  warm weather bowties.  This week’s pick is the Topless Beau by Southern Proper, we originally featured it back in the Summer of 2012, and it’s been a mainstay in our collection ever since.  The post below originally ran on June 1, 2012.

Guys, let’s face it, when you head to the beach you spend just as much time looking at the “scenery” as you do looking at the scenery.  As much as we’d all like to think we are sly about our glances, the girls down at Southern Proper are obviously on to us.  Case in point is the Topless Beau ($55) from their Southern Summers collection.

With a print made up solely of bikini bottoms, this beau is going to turn as many heads as those same bottoms do at the beach.  Available in hot pink, orange, and green, the Topless Beau is definitely a pick for those days when you just feel like throwing on a tie that is without a doubt going to be a conversation starter.
