As much as we’d love to layer on every piece of heavy clothing we own to combat these ridiculously low temperatures, it simply isn’t a suitable option.  Instead, we’ve been doing our best to pick and choose the most efficient layering pieces possible.  One layer that we’re wishing we had in the arsenal these days is the new Shetland Crewneck Sweater from Sid Mashburn.

Like many of our favorite things from Sid Mashburn, the Shetland Crewneck is one of those pieces that will have a place in your wardrobe for years to come.  Made from 100% wool, these sweaters are knit “off-gauge” which means they’re a bit lighter weight than a typical Shetland sweater but still just as warm.  Whether you keep things low key and choose grey, or liven things up with one of the other three color options, the Mashburn Shetland sweater will look just as good over jeans as it will under your favorite blazer.
