Over the last few years, a number of classic “prep” brands have introduced collections that target a younger demographic of sorts.  One such line is York Street from J. Press.  While some of the pieces are a bit over the top (even for us), there are some absolute gems in the catalog.  One of our favorite items from the York Street collection is the Wool/Silk Repp Stripe bowtie.

Currently offered at an extremely discounted price, it’s going to be tough for us not to add all of the Wool/Silk Repp Stripe bows to our rotation.  Made in the USA from a unique wool/silk blend, and available in the three color combinations shown above, these ties have an absolutely fantastic texture that will certainly set them apart from your traditional repp stripe bows.  It’s offerings like this bowtie, traditional with just a bit of a twist, that have us hoping the York Street line is here to stay.
