As much as we like to turn heads with go to hell pants, interesting bowties, and whatever else tends to catch our eye, we all know that the core to any good wardrobe is a solid group of basics.  For us, a trusty pair of khakis is one of those core pieces, and one of our favorite pairs in the Slim Fit Dalton in British Khaki from Jack Donnelly.  If one of your resolutions is to upgrade your wardrobe, these pants are a great starting point.

Featuring a fit that is noticeably slimmer than the traditional Daltons, yet not so tight that you feel like you’re wearing skinny jeans, the slim fit Daltons have become an absolute work horse for us over the last year or so.  Easily dressed up or down, they’re made in the USA from a heavy 8.5 oz 100% cotton twill that just gets better with age.  Just like the rest of the pants in the Jack Donnelly collection, the Slim Fit Daltons will come unhemmed, so you’ll have to make a quick trip to your tailor before you break them out.  This year, we may even order a couple more pairs simply so we have some length options as the seasons change.
