From stripes, to dots, to prints, our bowtie collection certainly runs the gamut, and as the seasons begin to change our choice in ties does as well. With cool weather soon approaching, it’s a foregone conclusion that more plaid bows will start working their way into rotation. One that will certainly see some wear from us this Fall is the Pisgah Bow from Collared Greens.
Just like our seersucker, we will soon be putting away the summer weight chinos. We’ll miss them dearly, along with the weather, but there is something nice about unpacking a few pairs of cords that haven’t seen the light of day for six months or so. For the last couple of years, our go to place for casual corduroy pants has been Canvas Lands’ End, and odds are we’ll probably be picking up another pair or two of their 5-Pocket Straight Fit Cords before seasons end.
Pretty soon (not yet, rules be damned) we’ll be packing up our seersucker for the season, and breaking out the Fall collection. One piece that we think everyone should have for this time of year is a versatile tweed blazer, and recently we came across one that will make a fantastic addition to just about any wardrobe. It’s the Belgrave Tweed Blazer by Jack Wills.
We’re pretty picky about our boatshoes around here, and, for the most part, we’ve stuck with a handful of brands for as long as we can remember. Well, after hearing about them for quite some time, we are happy to report that another brand is now in our rotation. Just last week, we were finally able to get our hands on a pair of Yachtsman boatshoes from Category 5.
