Until now, other than one black pair that saw a grand total of one wear, the only color to grace our denim rotation has been blue.  With so much color in our closet, it was only a matter of time until we added some variety to our jeans, and it looks like the time is now.  Our pick to break the ice is a pair of 628 5-Pocket Colored Denim Jeans from Canvas Lands’ End.

With the same cut as the traditional 628 5-pocket denim, the colored version has a fit that is perfect for those of us who prefer something a bit looser than a classic slim fit, but far from baggy.  In our opinion, the pick of the litter when it comes to color options currently available in the 628s is Turtle Shell (shown).  We feel like the green will work quite well everything from t-shirts and chucks to OCBDs and suede mocs this Fall.  What do you think?  Good first pick for colored denim?  If not, what would you go with?
