With games kicking off in a mere three days, college football fever is approaching dangerous levels here at Bowties & Boatshoes.  In fact, there’s a good chance we’ll be breaking out our team colors all week long in anticipation of the upcoming action.  Of course there are a ton of companies out there selling collegiate gear, but when it comes to low key ways to show our allegiance Peter Millar is tough to beat.  Today’s pick is their Collegiate Cotton Lisle Polo.

It doesn’t get much more classic than a polo with a simple chest logo, and the Cotton Lisle option from Peter Millar is high on our list of favorites.  Made from double mercerized Egyptian cotton, these incredibly soft shirts are available in solids and stripes, and for just about every school you can imagine.  As far as polos go, these lean towards the dressy side of the scale, and they work well everyone from the tailgate to the office.  Three more days friends, three more days.
