In three short weeks we will be celebrating the return of our favorite time of the year, college football season.  In the meantime, we’re pouring over any news we can find about our favorite teams, and beginning to plan a few gameday looks for the upcoming year.  Of course, some of our favorite pieces are staples year in and year out.  The post below originally ran on September 12, 2012.

The last couple of days have been nice, but today is the day we have been looking forward to for months.  College football is back in full force, and we couldn’t be happier.  To celebrate the occasion, we’ve decided to head into the archives and revisit some of our favorite collegiate gear.

Collegiate Skipjack Polos by Southern Tide: Okay, we didn’t have to go too far back for this one, but there is still time to enter for a chance to win one of your own.  Make sure to get those entries in before time runs out.

Collegiate Belts by Smathers & Branson: Needlepoint is never a bad choice, and neither is a little bit of school pride.  You’ll be wearing these belts on Saturdays long after you move away from campus.

Gameday Hats by State Traditions:  The perfect example that not all team gear needs to have a school logo or slogan on it.

Stadium Shorts by Pennington and Bailes:  Early season games can be brutally hot.  Instead of gutting it out in your team colored Go to Hell pants, break out a pair of Stadium Shorts.  The all over embroidery will leave no doubt who you’re pulling for

Your trusty koozie:  Throw it in your back pocket, and you’ll be all set regardless of where your gameday adventures take you.  Though you won’t find it in our archives, lately we’ve been using a koozie that our friends over at Old Try sent down.  They don’t sell them, but if you buy a few prints and ask as politely as you can they may just send you one.
