Not only do we enjoy weaving red, white, and blue into our wardrobe, you’ll also find a few patriotic touches worked into the decor of our homes as well.  One of our favorite pieces comes from our friends at Old Try.  Their Free Republic print is one that we display proudly all year long.

Named for the Free Republic of Franklin, a piece of land that is now part of east Tennessee and was once given to the Federal government as repayment of Revolutionary War debt from the state of North Carolina, this print features what many call the “Betsy Ross” flag.  We’ve always been fans of the Ross design, and as soon as Old Try unveiled this print last Summer, we knew had to have it.  Hand pressed in Somerville, MA, the flag is printed on 110lb Lettra letterpress paper, and part of run of 100.  Whether you tack it up on your dorm room wall, or put it behind glass in a den, this is a print that will look great wherever it hangs.
