A few weeks back the team from a new brand called Blu Kicks reached out and asked if we would be interested in trying out a pair of their slip-ons.   Though the shoes were a bit outside our comfort zone (we’re making an effort to expand our horizons a bit this summer), we decided to take them up on the offer.  A couple of days later a pair of their Panama Stripe slip-ons showed up at our doorstep.

Blu Kicks calls themselves the “official shoe of playing hookie,” and we think their description is dead on.  Whether you’re heading to the pool, the beach, or just wandering down the boardwalk, these slip-ons are the perfect choice.  Our pair of Panama Stripes have a bit of a seersucker feel to them and have already been put to good use.  In fact, they’ll definitely be a constant in our travel bag this summer.  If you’re looking for something a bit more low key, Blu Kicks has a number of great looking solid options, and if you really want to go all out we have a feeling you’ll love the Humu Yellow.  Regardless of which pair you decide on, we’d definitely recommend adding a pair of Blu Kicks to your summer rotation.
