As much as we love the classic blue and white seersucker combination, we are always on the lookout for other iterations of our favorite warm weather fabric.  Last year our friends at Ratio Clothing unveiled their seersucker collection, and the red gingham option quickly became one of our favorite shirts.  We got a lot of wear out of this one last year, and it has quickly worked it’s way back into the rotation this year as well.  The post below originally ran on July 16, 2012.

For those days when a polo isn’t an option, but the temperatures are still far above comfortable, picking just the right fabric is key.  For us, you can never go wrong with seersucker on a hot day, and we are pretty excited that there seem to be more and more tailored seersucker shirts hitting the market.  Just last week, our friends at Ratio Clothing jumped into the world of seersucker with four great looking shirts ($115).

Though we like all of the Ratio seersucker shirts, the one that really jumped out at us was the Red Gingham.  With a bold print that can stand tall on its own, or add the perfect compliment to just about any look, we see this one being worn over and over again.  Of course, just like the rest of the shirts in the Ratio line, their seersucker options are made to measure for a fit that is truly just for you.  We’re hearing there is a 3-4 week turnaround time on these, so if you want one for this summer we’d recommend getting your order in ASAP, we sure will be.
