For events like the Kentucky Derby, we are firm believers that you have to respect the tradition and keep your attire in line with the event at hand.  Luckily for us, Churchill Downs is the perfect place to break out two of our favorite things, seersucker and bowties.  Of course, having just a little bit of fun with your look is never a bad idea, and small touches can truly make all the difference.  For those of you who tend to think the same way, we have a feeling you’ll love the White/Green Derby 100’s from Walk-Over.

Everyone knows a simple pair of white bucks is always a good look this time of year, but for those times when you need a little something extra the Derby 100’s are definitely a solid alternative.  Made in the USA, these shoes feature a classic white suede upper, calfskin lining, and an eye catching lime green sole that is sure to turn a few heads.  With a cushioned footbed and goodyear welt construction, not only are the Derby 100’s extremely comfortable they’ll also stand up to heavy use for years to come.  Just like boatshoes, we’d recommend going sockless with these, and don’t worry if you get a scuff or two, it just adds character.
