Around here we are never not looking for our next great pair of boatshoes.  We search high and low, and it never ceases to amaze us just how many great pairs are out there waiting to be discovered.  The latest pair to be added to our list of desires is made exclusively for an online storefront based in Dutchess County NY., it’s The Field Boatshoe by Rancourt & Co.

Made exclusively for The Field Outfitting Company, Rancourt and Co. has really gone all out with the latest pair of boatshoes to carry their name.  Featuring high quality Horween leather, the shoes have a “Navy Rockford” lower, and the collar and heel cap are crafted from a color called “Tan Bulldog” that is hand burnished by the Rancourt team in Maine.  Finishing things off you’ll find nickel plated eyelets, rawhide laces,a classic white siped sole to keep you planted on deck, and our favorite touch, a pair of small vents to drain any unwanted water and allow for a bit of extra air flow on the hottest of days. Built in Maine for an online storefront based in New York, these boatshoes will look right at home here in Annapolis.
