Back in November we finally took the plunge on a pair of chocolate suede loafers from Sid Mashburn down in Atlanta.  They’ve seen some heavy wear over the last few months, but with warm weather just around the bend we’re thinking that these relatively dark brown shoes will probably be seeing less and less time in the rotation in the coming seasons.  That said, we’re thinking the perfect stand in for Spring and Summer could be Mashburn’s Scotch Grain Penny Loafers.

Hand-sewn in Maine, the Scotch Grain Penny Loafers will make a great compliment to just about any casual look.  Fully lined, and featuring a double leather sole, these pebbled leather loafers are built to last and are a great way to mix things up if you’re looking for something a bit different than your standard brown loafer.  For those times that call for something just a touch dressier than boatshoes, we have a feeling the Scotch Grain Penny Loafers might just become our go to for the next few months.
