For the last couple of months, we’ve longed for a day when it would be appropriate to break out our boatshoes. Sure, there have been a couple of days that we went sans socks, but going all out with the boatshoes would have been a bit much. That being said, had we had a pair of the Spinnaker Boatshoes that Sebago and Filson came together to create in our rotation we may have been singing a different tune.
How these great looking boatshoes remained off of our radar for so long is truly baffling to us. We’re big fans of both brands, and to see them work together on one of our favorite shoe silhouettes is pretty cool. Based on the classic Sebago Docksides, Spinnakers are known for their contrasting colors and these shoes certainly don’t disappoint. Available in olive or brown, and finished with Filson’s famed Oil Finish Tin Cloth around the collar, if there were ever a pair of boatshoes that looked right at home in the Fall and Winter, this are them. Though sizes are somewhat limited through Filson, if you do some digging you should still be able to track down your size and preferred color online. Happy hunting!
