For quite some time now, whenever we knew a day was going to be spent on the water, or full of activity in general, we’d always grab a pair of Costas before heading out the door. The glasses are always comfortable, and they perform better than any others in our lineup. That being said, for days that were a bit more low key, or days that we were more worried about style than function (hey, it happens), our beloved Costas normally took a back seat. Well, that is all starting to change since we got our hands on one of the newest additions to the Costa lineup, Cut.
Our friends at Costa emailed us a couple of weeks ago asking if we might be interested in giving the Cut a once over, and we were more than happy to oblige. Built with style in mind, but still available with all of the top notch Costa lenses that we’ve come to love, these glasses have quickly worked their way into heavy rotation. With a bit of a retro feel to them, these squared off shades are definitely a fine example of form and function. Our sample pair of Cuts came in the Coconut Fade(shown), basically a fade from black to brown, and we’ve found it to be a solid alternative to the tortoise frames that we normally turn to for casual wear. Also available in Ocean (light blue), Squall (grey/black), and Honey Tortoise, the Cut is a pair of sunglasses that will fit well in just about anyone’s rotation.
